My mother loved summer, growing a garden, and raising flowers. She enthused her grandkids with the whole process of planting and harvesting. My nephew Charles was about three years old when he came in and asked Mama, "Granny, when are your rabbits going to get ripe?"
âHUH?â
A trip to the flower bed showed us "rabbits" growing that we had never seen before. Look closely at the center of a common larkspur bloom, and see the tiny rabbit head with its long ears!
